Puducherry is a popular tourist spot known for its sun, sand and cold beer in the South India. To attract more tourists, Catamaran Brewing Co, the first microbrewery in the area, has introduced an exciting new venture - the Brewery Bus Tour.
Starting from April 22, this unique tour offers a 12-hour experience where guests can enjoy a round trip from Chennai to Puducherry. For INR 3000 per person, visitors can indulge in a delicious three-course meal and unlimited craft beer while getting a personal tour of the microbrewery.
The bus will accommodate up to 40 passengers and pick-up is scheduled at 9 AM from a pre-designated spot. Note that drinking beer on the bus is not allowed, but the bus will stop at a designated area where drinking is permitted.
During the tour, guests will be taken around Puducherry and given a tour of the brewery with a demo of how beer is made. Afterward, they will be treated to lunch with unlimited craft beer for two hours. The menu includes eight types of craft beer such as tropical wheat beer, English India Pale Ale, strawberry cider, apple cider, dark lager and rice lager or seeraga samba rice beer.
